Notification has been received on all RPW accounts that the Single Application Form (SAF) will be available to complete from the 1st March 2022 until midnight on 16th May 2022. Applications will be once again completed via RPW Online.
SAF 2022 must be used to apply to the National Reserve for an allocation of Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) entitlements, as well as to claim payment for the following schemes:
- BPS, including Young Farmer
- Glastir Advanced (GA)
- Glastir Organic (GO)
- Improved Land Premium (ILP)
- Glastir Woodland Creation Premium (GWCP)
- Glastir Woodland Creation Maintenance (GCM)
During the application you must claim for all of the schemes you intend to on the SAF, indicate in the ‘Field Data’ section which fields you are using to support payment for each scheme you are claiming, ensure that you include any change to the land parcel when completing your SAF field declarations and ensure you claim against each common land entry you wish to use to support your application if needed. Please note that any changes to the field parcels should be updated using the Manage My Land system within 30 days of the change having taken place. This includes notification of start dates on new tenancies and occupation arrangements that you may have.
In terms of BPS Supporting Documents, the deadline for these is the 31st December 2022. These include:
- Evidence of Agricultural Activity,
- Evidence for the Young Farmer Payment,
- Evidence to support an application to the National Reserve.
As per 2021, subject to claim eligibility and receipt of all necessary Supporting Documents, there is the intention to make a BPS Advance Payment from 14th October 2022 of 70% of the anticipated final BPS 2022 claim value. There will be no need to complete a separate application for this.
