Alison - Agri Supply Chain Advisor

Alison joined Rural Advisor in August 2022.  After working in the red meat supply chain for nearly fifteen years she is taking her knowledge and experience and changing paths to work directly with farmers, food and drink businesses, and public bodies.

Alison graduated from Harper Adams University in 2003 with a BSC Hons in Agri Food Marketing with Business 2003 and returned to study whilst working to gain a PgD International Agri-Business Management 2016.

Since joining Rural Advisor Alison has become a member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (BIAC).

Her on the ground knowledge of farming systems and the current challenges, is down to her growing up on a family farm in Ceredigion, West Wales, where she has recently become a partner in the business with her parents.

From her experience of working across the red meat supply chain, her expertise expands from hosting farmer groups and on farm projects to sustainability challenges, product development and brand protection.

Alison is very passionate about Welsh agriculture and food, and the future of these industries.
