Dr Hazel Ann Nash - Planning Consultant
Hazel previously worked for Rural Advisor on an ad hoc basis and as of January 2023 has joined the team in a permanent role.
Hazel is an experienced planning practitioner and environmental management specialist. She has previously worked for a number of local authorities in senior planning consultant roles and for the Welsh Government drafting planning policy.
Hazel has taught planning and property law for a number of years at Birmingham City University before joining Rural Advisor as a Planning Consultant.
She is able to assist with a variety of planning queries associated with planning applications, objections, enforcement, appeals, plan-making and policy for householder, agricultural, commercial and industrial proposals at a variety of scales.
Outside of work, Hazel and her family have a small property business, renovating houses. They are currently working on their own 1960s bungalow in Devon.
